To make a reservation, please choose a desired calandar date and time, and select 1 from the quantity box, indicating you want 1 timeslot. Note that some time slots may already be sold out. Please book early! We ask that you book at least a week in advance. Before scheduling you will be asked additional questions pertaining to your group such as, how many people are in your group, etc. A non-refundable $50 deposit will be charged at the time of your booking, which will be credited to your groups remaining balance upon your arrival.
Field trips are on the hour and scheduled Mon-Fri 9:00am - 1:00pm. Price is $7.00 per student/chaperone.
***Required: School Tour Groups must be 20+ (total number of children+adults attending). Basse's will charge for 20 attendees If a group does not meet the minimum required of 20 attendees.
Basse's Taste of Country presents guided, interactive nature field trips for Kindergarten through 4th grade based on Wisconsin Academic Standards for Science. Basse's is conveniently located minutes from Milwaukee and surrounding suburbs in Menomonee Falls. No long bus rides! Our Country setting is sure to make this a hands-on experience for all students.
Enjoy an animated educational presentation. Learn how animals, trees, and plants prepare for winter during this informative field trip. Students will visit and feed our farm animals, learn human (and animal) uses for locally harvested crops, take a tractor drawn hayride to the pumpkin patch for a pumpkin (one per person), take a walk through our labrynth (short-course corn maze), and receive a postcard of the maze.
Renting Picnic Facilities: Picnic areas are avaliable by reservation between the hours of 10:00am and 1:00pm. Basse's will add $.50 per student/chaperone for a facility usage charge, payable upon arrival.

Once a school tour reservation is placed there is only a 24 hour window to cancel and change reservation dates. Please take the time to choose reservation dates carefully and accurately the first time.
